Overview
Each UniAsset plan has specific limits on assets, users, and storage. This guide explains the limits and what happens when you approach or reach them.

Asset Limits
What counts as an asset?
Both standard assets and consumables count toward your asset limit. Only active (non-archived) assets are counted.
What happens at the limit?
When you reach your asset limit:
- You'll see a notification warning
- You won't be able to add new assets
- Existing assets remain fully functional
- You can still edit and manage existing assets
How to free up asset slots?
- Archive unused assets - Archived assets don't count
- Delete old assets - Remove assets no longer needed
- Upgrade your plan - Get more capacity instantly
User Limits
Who counts as a user?
All active users in your organization count, regardless of their role.
What happens at the limit?
When you reach your user limit:
- You'll see a notification warning
- You won't be able to invite new users
- Existing users retain full access
How to free up user slots?
- Remove inactive users - Delete users who no longer need access
- Downgrade roles - Consider if all users need their current roles
- Upgrade your plan - Get more user capacity
Storage Limits
What uses storage?
Storage is used by:
- Asset images and photos
- Uploaded documents (PDFs, manuals, etc.)
- Attached files
What happens at the limit?
When you reach your storage limit:
- You'll see a notification warning
- You won't be able to upload new files
- Existing files remain accessible
- You can still download and view files
How to free up storage?
- Delete old documents - Remove outdated files
- Compress images - Optimize large images before upload
- Remove duplicate files - Clean up redundant uploads
- Upgrade your plan - Get more storage space
Usage Warnings
UniAsset sends warnings when you approach limits:

| 80% | Yellow warning - approaching limit |
| 100% | Red alert - limit reached |
Only organization owners receive limit notifications.
Viewing Your Usage
To check your current usage:
- Go to Settings
- Click Plan & Usage
- View your asset, user, and storage usage
Upgrading Your Plan
When you need more capacity:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Upgrade Plan
- Select your new plan
- Complete payment
Limits increase immediately after upgrade.
