Overview

UniAsset uses Stripe for secure payment processing. This article covers accepted payment methods, billing cycles, and how to manage your billing information.

Accepted Payment Methods

Billing Cycles

Monthly Billing

  • Charged on the same date each month
  • No long-term commitment
  • Cancel anytime

Annual Billing

  • Charged once per year
  • Save up to 20% compared to monthly
  • Full year billed upfront

Managing Your Payment Method

Update Credit Card

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Update payment method
  3. Enter new card details
  4. Click Save

View Billing History

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. View past invoices
  3. Download receipts as PDF

Invoices and Receipts

Automatic Invoices

  • Invoices are generated automatically
  • Sent via email after each charge
  • Available in your billing dashboard

Invoice Contents

Each invoice includes:

  • Invoice number
  • Billing period
  • Plan details
  • Amount charged
  • Payment method (last 4 digits)
  • Tax information (if applicable)

Payment Security

Your payment information is secure:

  • Stripe: PCI-DSS Level 1 certified
  • Encryption: All data encrypted in transit
  • Storage: We never store full card numbers
  • 3D Secure: Supported for additional security

Common Questions

When am I charged?

  • Monthly: On your subscription start date each month
  • Annual: On your subscription start date each year

What if my payment fails?

  1. We'll retry the payment after 24 hours
  2. You'll receive an email notification
  3. Update your payment method to avoid service interruption
  4. After 3 failed attempts, your account may be suspended

Can I get a refund?

  • Monthly plans: No refunds for partial months
  • Annual plans: Contact support within 14 days for pro-rated refunds
  • See our Terms of Service for full refund policy

How do I cancel?

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Cancel subscription
  3. Your access continues until the end of the billing period

Do you charge sales tax?

Tax is applied based on your location and local requirements. Tax details appear on your invoice.

Enterprise Billing

Enterprise customers have additional options:

  • Invoice billing: Net 30 payment terms
  • Bank transfer: ACH or wire transfer
  • Purchase orders: Submit POs for approval
  • Custom billing: Contact your account manager
