Does UniAsset support other languages and currencies?
Currency — yes
Each organization has its own currency, defaulted from the country you set at registration and used throughout reports and cost figures.
Set it at Settings → Organization.
Important Changing currency changes how figures are displayed. It does not convert amounts already recorded. Set it before you start entering purchase costs.
Financial year — yes
Your financial year start month is also defaulted from your country: April for India and the UK, July for Australia, October for the US federal year, January otherwise.
Depreciation and year-end reporting run against it. Set it at Settings → Organization.
Regional billing — yes
Your billing country determines which payment provider handles your subscription: Razorpay for India, Dodo Payments everywhere else. Prices are canonical in USD; Indian customers are shown INR at the configured rate.
Interface language
The UniAsset interface is in English.
Your own data is not restricted
You can enter asset names, descriptions, notes, locations, categories, and custom field values in any language. Nothing restricts what you type.
Export your data as UTF-8 to preserve non-English characters correctly — if a CSV opens with wrong characters in Excel, use Excel's text import and specify UTF-8 rather than double-clicking the file.
