Welcome to UniAsset
UniAsset is an Asset Operations Platform — one system of record for everything your organization owns, maintains, and is accountable for.
It answers the questions that are hard to answer without a dedicated system: Where is this asset? Who is responsible for it? When was it last serviced? What has it actually cost us? Is it still worth keeping?
What UniAsset brings together
| Area | What you get |
|---|---|
| Asset lifecycle | Acquisition, assignment, custody, movement, disposal |
| Maintenance operations | Preventive schedules, work orders, inspections, SLAs |
| Financial intelligence | Depreciation, net book value, total cost of ownership, the Fixed Asset Register |
| Governance | Append-only history, immutable incident evidence, document expiry tracking |
The four asset modules
Everything you track lives in one of four modules. Picking the right one is the most important early decision.
| Module | Use it for | Quantity |
|---|---|---|
| Assets | An individually identified item — one laptop, one forklift | No |
| Asset Stock | Quantity-held capital items — ten spare laptops in the store room | Yes, ledger-backed |
| Consumables | Supplies that get used up — filters, toner, fasteners | Yes |
| Documents | A document that is the asset — a licence, permit, certificate | No |
See Understanding the four asset types for a decision guide.
Who uses UniAsset
- Operations managers accountable for physical assets and equipment cost
- IT managers tracking hardware, device assignment, licence and warranty expiry
- Facilities managers running preventive schedules on building systems
- Finance teams who need defensible depreciation and asset cost data
- Lab and clinical managers with calibration and compliance obligations
There is no minimum or maximum size. A five-person team and a fifty-thousand-asset estate use the same product.
Plans at a glance
Assets are unlimited on every plan, including the free one. You are never asked to upgrade because you have too many assets.
| Plan | Price | Users | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nova | Free forever | 5 | 500 MB |
| Orbit | $29/month | 15 | 5 GB |
| Odyssey | $99/month | Unlimited | 50 GB |
| Cosmos | Contact sales | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Plans unlock operational depth, not row counts. Nova lets you know what you own. Orbit adds maintenance, work orders, depreciation and check-out. Odyssey adds the API, IoT, SLAs and the Executive Dashboard. Cosmos adds enterprise governance.
Nonprofits, NGOs, religious and educational organizations can apply in-product for a dedicated Nonprofit plan. See How to request nonprofit pricing.

What UniAsset is not
Knowing the boundaries saves time evaluating it:
- Not an ERP. No procurement, purchase orders, accounts payable, or general ledger.
- Not a full CMMS. Work orders, SLAs and checklists ship, but not technician dispatch optimisation or shift scheduling.
- Not a warehouse system. No bin locations, pick-and-pack, or shipping workflows.
- Not an IT service desk. No ticket queues or change management.
- Not a real-time IoT automation platform. Telemetry is ingested and displayed; nothing reacts to a signal automatically.
Your first hour
- Set up your structure — a few categories, locations and departments. See the Quick start guide.
- Create an asset — or import your existing list. See Creating your first asset and How to import assets from CSV.
- Invite your team — with the right role for each person. See How to invite team members.
- Learn the dashboard — See Dashboard and navigation overview.
No configuration is required before your first asset. System asset statuses exist from the moment your organization is created.
