Why am I not receiving emails from UniAsset?
1. Check your plan
Email delivery differs by plan, and this is the most common cause.
| Channel | Plan |
|---|---|
| In-app notification centre | All plans |
| Weekly digest email | All plans |
| Daily digest email | Orbit and above |
| Immediate email for critical alerts | Orbit and above |
On Nova, the weekly digest is the email you get. Immediate alerts and daily digests need Orbit or above.
There is also a monthly email volume limit: 500 on Orbit, unlimited on Odyssey and Cosmos.
2. Check your own preferences
Notification preferences are per person, not per organization.
Go to Settings → Preferences and check your email alert mode — immediate, daily digest, weekly only, or none. If it is set to none, nothing will arrive.
3. Check your spam folder
Then add UniAsset to your safe senders. Corporate mail filters are a frequent culprit, and often silently.
If your whole team is affected, ask your IT administrator to allow mail from UniAsset.
4. Check the alert condition is actually true
An alert only fires when its condition holds. Common surprises:
- Maintenance alerts need PM rules with intervals set
- Document expiry needs an expiry date on the document
- Warranty expiry needs a warranty date on the asset
- Low stock needs a minimum threshold above zero
- Checkout returns need an expected return date
Check the in-app notification centre first. If the alert is not at Dashboard → Notifications, it was never raised — which is a condition problem, not an email problem.
5. You already had this alert
Alerts are deduplicated. A condition already notified does not produce a second notification while it stays true.
That is why a persistent problem generates one alert rather than one per check.
Invitation emails
Check the address is right on the invitation.
Invitation tokens are single-use and expire. Send a fresh one if it has lapsed.
Check spam, then have the recipient's IT allow the sender.
Verification emails
You are not locked out. Verification is prompted rather than enforced — an unverified user can use the product. Expired verification tokens can be reissued.
What is always available
The in-app notification centre works on every plan, regardless of email settings. Email is a delivery channel, not the alert itself.
Dashboard → Upcoming is the consolidated forward view of everything due.
Read state is per person
If a colleague dismissed an organization-wide alert, it is still visible to you. Nobody can clear alerts on your behalf.
